Mr. Gosselin is a 1984 magna cum laude graduate of Southwestern University School of Law, where he was Articles Editor of the Law Review. After practicing corporate, mergers and acquisitions, and securities law at several large law firms, he joined Vans, Inc., the well-known publicly traded designer, distributor and retailer of Vans shoes, as General Counsel. Mr. Gosselin spent nearly 13 years at Vans, eventually becoming a Senior Vice President. Mr. Gosselin joined the firm in January 2005 following the $400 million acquisition of Vans by VF Corporation. He continues to represent Vans as its outside general counsel. While at Vans, Mr. Gosselin developed expertise in a number of areas of law including employment, intellectual property, entertainment and real estate. Mr. Gosselin also has substantial experience advising Boards of Directors and their Committees, and counseling public companies on compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and NASDAQ and NYSE listing obligations.
